Baby Beach Upgrade Progress

Baby Beach Renovation
New and improved Baby Beach

Baby Beach and surrounding area are in the midst of a renovation and reorganization round. Previously there were several dilapidated grass huts, also known as palapas, while cars could park onto the beach, creating a very nasty situation for the environment and a dangerous situation for the users.

The renovation efforts include a reorganization of the beach by better parking, with restrictions to drive on the beach, new landscaping and many, smaller palapas throughout the whole stretch of beach. There will be more trash bins and signs with instructions and rules.

Above and below pictures show a better – in my opinion – and a more organized Baby Beach. The combination of the small palapas and small palms complement each other. Financing for his project is provided by special funds from the European Union.
