Aruba Marriott has invested $50 million in a major renovation which had different phases ant took about two years in total to complete. Marriott revamped pretty much the whole Palm Beach resort property, including the entrance, outside landscaping and parking area.
Expect to find renovated bathrooms with duo faucet, spacious walk-in closets, connection for notebook/iPod, wide screen LCD TV and large shower heads. The lobby has been revamped as well, including state of the art elevators. Additionally the newly opened Lobby Café is a great addition and is open 24-hours a day.
Marriott certainly upped the ante by taking the 8th floor and converting it into an exclusive boutique hotel. Tradewinds Club. It has 59 units. It also has a little private beach area, with access to Palm Beach. Additional services are available ass well.
Last week I wrote on how tourism is going to evolve and expand with niche tourism. I think Marriott’s new project is a testament to that fact.
