Only A Few Outdoor Activities Still Allowed

There are a handful of activities deemed safe.

Every state or province is dealing with the details surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic the way local the situation on the ground requires it to be dealt with.

Here in Aruba, it is no different. Nearly every activity deemed non-essential was banned in April. There are a few activities that were still allowed, of course minding the distancing measures.

Running, swimming and surfing are the only outdoor activities allowed.

Never have I seen so many people running and hiking on a daily basis. Naturally, this is the consequence of trying to get some movement and some maintain some sanity after being inside for so long.

Swimming is allowed, but not hanging on the beach or sunbathing. For the most part, people adhere to this, although there are still a few that try to spend time on the white sand.

Surfers were also given permission to exercise their sport, which many enthusiasts are doing. The pictures show the local surfers in action.
