The Village Lifestyle Center Opens
The Village Lifestyle Center opens to the public. This relatively small project located in Palm Beach – across – Radisson Resort – has been ongoing non-stop for the last several months and it opened without any glitches. Several shops have already opened for business.
The standard procedure for the inauguration of projects in Aruba is the so-called soft opening. Often projects open before it is completely finished in order to start generating some buzz among the people and to quickly start generating badly needed income. More pictures after the jump.
The Village still needs some minor work done such as the central plaza’s water fountain and pavement in the parking lot, but most of it is finished. As I expressed in prior occasions, this project has stood out among all the other new shopping areas at Palm Beach. In fact, The Village stands out positively among the rest. They don’t have a website however.

I Really like it! We need more of those design.
I’ve speculated previously that the whole Palm Beach strip from The Village to ex-Rio Restaurant will be developed into what is going to be called Palm Beach Boulevard in the near future.
I hope that they think on the design and keep the development small scale.
I agree with you, I already fear for the mainstreet.
