Shown from the East, a unique resort architecture in Aruba: Amsterdam Manor
As a popular tourist destination Aruba features many high quality resorts, mostly located at popular beaches such as Palm Beach, Eagle Beach or Druif Beach. Most of the time high profile – big – resorts run away with the attention and accolades, which is not fair. In my opinion smaller resorts frequently equal, and in most cases even surpass the quality of service and overall experience offered at major resort.
Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is such a resort. This small 72-room multi-award winning property located at Eagle Beach is headed for its 20th birthday and has been a stable contributor in Aruba’s hospitality industry. The service at Amsterdam is unmatched and personal. This is possible because the team is small and focused. I have experienced this myself as a guest – twice – and confirmed it with others.
Amsterdam Manor features spacious studios, one and two bedroom suites. All rooms are air-conditioned and non-smoking. Additionally the rooms feature full kitchens with all appliances and utensils. Amsterdam Manor has two restaurants, free broadband internet (in the lobby) and a small convenience store among others. Room rates start at $159 per night ($249 in high-season). Amsterdam Manor is going to unleash a massive 20% discount upon us starting February 1st to June 30th. Lastly, there is a “Worry-Free Guarantee”, which means all cancellation fees are waived, “in case you have to cancel your trip last minute due to the economic circumstances”, according to amsterdammanor.com.
