New and improved: lower admission fees at Morgan’s Island Water Park
Morgan’s Island Water Park has received a lot of criticism regarding their previous admission fees. In fact, people where flat out outraged. Even I’ve received several e-mails with people expressing their disappointment about the prices.
Until recently the admission fees where $57 for adults and $47 for kids and opening hours were daily form 10 am t0 6 pm. There was a special price from 3 pm to 6 pm. Locals would receive a discount of 43%.
Within two months of inauguration prices were lowered. Now, the general admission fees are $39 for adults and for kids from 3 – 12 it’s $34. Opening hours also underwent some changes. The water park now opens from 10 am to 5 pm daily (except Mondays), while Saturday and Sunday it opens from 10 am to 6 pm. The silly special prices for usage between 3 pm to 6 pm was dropped altogether.
Concluding, the regular admission fees dropped with with $18 (32%), while kids’ admission fees dropped with $13 (28%). The next step now is to somehow lower the retail prices, which still are a bit steep. All together Morgan’s Island took a good step into the right direction.

Have the prices come down at all? Is it worth the money? Can you bring in your own food and beverage?
Thank You for the feedback…….

Jimmy thanks for commenting. The admission fees have come down significantly, but still remain on the higher side comparing to water parks in North America. Prices on premises, including the gift shop, are pretty steep. Officially it’s not allowed to bring outside F&B, however that doesn’t really seem to be enforced at the gate. Is it worth it? Wow, though one. A family like mine would have to pay $112, adding food, beverages it adds on. A family four – two adults, two kids – pays $146, when adding the rest, it can get pricey.
Having said that, comparing to other activities on the island like sea scooters, jeep tours, atv’s, horseback riding etc. the water park is still pretty competitive (depending on the consumption at the water park).
Concluding, water park’s a bit pricey, but the reaction of joy of my two young kids is priceless, thus totally worth it.
PS. Awesome middle name there Jimmy.
